This large market offers a vibrant atmosphere and a chance to discover fresh produce from all over the country, including fresh fruits and vegetables, sweets, nuts, handicrafts, and the traditional delicious clay-baked bread, which enchants the senses with its unique flavor. The Bazaar is within walking distance of the Registan and next to the Bibi-Khanym Mosque, one of the other things to do in Samarkand.

What makes Bazar Siyob especially beautiful are the people. If you didn't already know, Uzbeks are some of the friendliest and most friendly people out there.

A good example is when we ask if we can take a picture and after we were given free fruit and not only whoever was behind the counter did not accept money. Of course they are always trying to sell you something; it is part of their story. Again you have to bargain in this case.

Ciò che rende Bazar Siyob particolarmente bello sono le persone. Se non lo sapevi già, gli uzbeki sono tra le persone più amichevoli e cordiali là fuori. 

Un buon esempio è quando chiediamo se possiamo scattare una foto e dopo che ci è stata regalata della frutta gratuita e non solo chi stava dietro al bancone non ha accettato denaro. Ovviamente cercano sempre di venderti qualcosa: fa parte della loro storia. Anche in questo caso bisogna contrattare.
