The Trafalgar Tavern, located in Greenwich, is a Grade II listed pub with a rich history dating back to 1837. Originally built on the site of 'The Old George Tavern', it has attracted famous writers like Charles Dickens and served as a venue for political gatherings in Victorian times. After various uses in the 20th century, including as a working men's club and a home for retired sailors, the Tavern reopened in 1965 and was restored to its Victorian grandeur in 1968. It features a unique Regency-style design with maritime-themed artworks and historical artefacts, making it a popular spot for locals and visitors alike.
