At Langisandur Beach you can take a swim in the sea and enjoy the view from the comfort of Guðlaug Baths.

Guðlaug Baths has three levels. The highest level is a viewing platform with gorgeous views over the sea and often to Reykjavík. Underneath, on the second level is the larger and hotter of the two pools along with showers. Finally, on the lowest level is a shallow wading pool. Stairs join the three levels together and also provide access down to the beach.

There are also changing rooms on the other side of the side walk. So you ca change into your bathing suit there. There are no showers in the changing area, just outside next to the hot tubs.

It was a little bit unclear for me how to get to the pool in the first place (there are no clear signs). But just walk around the sports hall to the sea and you’ll find it there.
