Message from Elisa in Iceland

Visiting a botanical garden is maybe not the first thing that comes to mind when visiting Iceland. But Akureyri's botanical garden is definitely worth it. In summer time that is. In winter you can also go for a stroll here, but summer is when this place really comes to life.

You will find many different flowers and plants that survive on the edge of the arctic. And you'll find it there are a lot more beautiful plants there then you would expect.

Besides the garden itself, there is also a very nice coffee shop where you can get a drink while enjoying the view.
