Majó is a pop up restaurant in the oldest house of Akureyri. Magnús and Jónína started this restaurant. Magnús is the chef and Jónína serves the food, but she is also a visual artist and made all the art you will see in the restaurant.

I have personally not eaten in the restaurant yet (because it is only open a few nights a month), but I've visited Jónína to see her art and I loved the atmosphere and seeing their passion for what they do. And the sushi they make is famous in the area for being amazing. So I can highly recommend trying it out if you are in the are the nights their restaurant is open!
