Clothes:
The temperatures can really fluctuate on safari, ranging from boiling hot in the day and then quite cold in the mornings and evenings, so it's important to pack appropriately!
Lightweight, breathable casual tops (neutral tones)
Lightweight, breathable shorts & trousers (neutral tones)
Additional layers for the cold mornings and evenings - shirts/ sweatshirts etc.
Fleece or jacket
A lightweight rain jacket
Swimwear (if required)
Sun hat
Closed-toe shoes
Hiking boots (if going on a walking safari)
Gear:
When travelling with gear, remember that it can get very dusty, so make sure you are protecting your gear when out on safari!

Spare camera batteries and SD cards
Binoculars
Tripod or beanbag for camera (bear in mind that if you are in a group safari, there will likely not be room for a tripod in the van)
