The Millennium Cross is a stunningly tall structure situated atop of Vodno mountain in the country of North Macedonia, elevated above the capital city of Skopje. It was built in 2002 to commemorate Christianity's 2000-year presence in the region, and is now one of the largest crosses in the world. Not only does this symbol serve as a proud reminder of the faith in the area, but its panoramic view of the city below has made it an exciting tourist spot; giving visitors the best possible overlook of the capital city from high in the mountains!
