Yudonosan Shrine, located on Mount Yudono, is the last of the Three Sacred Mountains of Dewa (Mt. Haguro, Mt. Gassan, and Mt. Yudono). These mountains represent a journey of spiritual rebirth—Mt. Haguro symbolizes the present, Mt. Gassan the past, and Mt. Yudono the future. Pilgrims visit these mountains to seek spiritual renewal, with Yudonosan being the most sacred.

The shrine is open from late April to early November and closes during heavy snow.

Entrance Fee: 500 yen (for those in junior high school and older)

Despite its accessibility, Yudonosan remains deeply shrouded in mystery, drawing pilgrims and visitors alike to experience its spiritual significance and breathtaking natural beauty.
