WTF!! WHO KNEW THIS EVEN EXISTED?! Australia will never cease to surprise me...

Loch-Eel is one of those random, unexpected finds that makes road-tripping so fun. You’re driving through South Australia, minding your own business, and then BAM—there’s a massive Loch Ness monster just chilling in the middle of a salt lake. I had no idea it existed, just caught it out of the corner of my eye, and I swear my brain short-circuited for a second. Genuinely freaked out for a second there haha

It’s such a cool, quirky stop, especially if you’ve got a drone—the contrast of the monster against the pinky salt flats looks unreal from above. Super easy to access, just a quick pull-off from the road, and definitely one of those “you have to see it to believe it” kind of places. No idea who put it there or why, but I’m here for it.

Not sure about pets, but if your dog is cool with eerie giant creatures staring back at them, they’d probably be fine.
