The North Bondi Grassy Knoll (aka NoBo or The Knoll) / Biddigal Reserve, is the one and only place to be when you're spending a hot day in Bondi. Whether you're a local or a traveller, this spot is so popular - especially in the afternoon until sunset. My friends and I always pack drinks, food etc and set up for the day on the grass at the Knoll. Just walking distance from the beach, surf, snorkelling off the rocks etc.

With barbecue facilities, a playground, ocean pools, and stunning views of Bondi, it's the place to be.

On Friday mornings around 6:30am, you can also join in on the social ocean swim (approx 1.3km) which is SO fun and open to everyone! Such an epic local vibe and everyone goes for coffee at Pocket after.

On Sunday afternoons/ sunset, a mix of locals & backpackers do a drum circle at the Knoll or nearby sand (see video).
