General

Hudson Yards is a newly developed neighborhood on the West Side of Midtown Manhattan, bounded roughly by 30th Street to the south, 41st Street to the north, the West Side Highway to the west, and 8th Avenue to the east. It is the largest private real estate development in the United States, built over a working rail yard.

Highlights

  • The Vessel - This unique sculptural piece by Thomas Heatherwick consists of 154 intricately interconnecting flights of stairs and offers incredible views of the surrounding area.

  • The Shed - A multi-arts center with a telescoping outer shell that can extend to double its enclosed space for larger-scale performances and installations.

  • The High Line - The elevated park runs along the northern edge of Hudson Yards, offering green spaces and city views.

  • Shopping & Dining - Hudson Yards features upscale shopping at the mall, as well as a variety of dining options from renowned chefs.

  • Residential & Office Towers - The neighborhood includes luxury residential buildings and office towers like 30 Hudson Yards, the second-tallest office building in New York City.

  • Take in 360-degree panoramic views from the Edge outdoor observation deck on the 100th floor.

  • Attend performances, art exhibitions, and events at The Shed's flexible spaces.
