Giant's Causeway is a World Heritage Site located in Northern Ireland. It is an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic eruption. The columns form stepping stones that lead from the cliff foot and disappear under the sea. It is a popular tourist attraction and is said to be the inspiration for the legend of Finn MacCool.

I've a tip: there's two car parks, one for the visitor centre and another close by, which is open 24 hours (the visitor centre is 13£ per person but the other carpark you pay with an app and it's 10£. now, there isn't always someone monitoring the payment system and they do leave in the evening, so I managed to get it for free as only went just before sunset.

such a good sunset spot and the lights light up the cliffs, if you get the weather.

There's also a hike all along the cliff that you can do, it's about 21km but a stunnning walk and you'll see the bothys (old fishing cabins) along the way.
