Lake Davos is a small natural lake located in the town of Davos, Switzerland. It provides beautiful views of the surrounding Alpine landscape and has a massive depth of 54 meters. The lake is fed by several creeks and streams coming from the Rhine, Flüelabach, and Totalpbach, and is used as a source of hydropower.
You can both summer and winter enjoy this beautiful alpine lake.
HIKE DETAILS:
Start at Davos Dorf train station and follow the sign towards Davosersee. It is approximately 5 minutes walk.
From there follow the paved hiking trail and enjoy the view.
Distance of the hike is 5 km with only 69 meters of elevation gain. Easy hike with the best views.
Tip: bring a picnic, there are numerous picnic area along the way.
Tip 2: if you still have energy after the lake hike up to the Walserweg and feed the birds from your hand with seeds. Incredible experience.
