Starting point: By car, it takes 10 minutes to reach Sørvågen from Reine. The parking lot is located between the two lakes Sørvågatnet and Tindsvatnet. Route: The hike begins at the parking lot by Sørvågvatnet, following a gravel path until the first fork. A barely noticeable trail marked by a red sign leads up a rock hill, passing a waterfall from Stuvdalsvatnet. After crossing a stream and reaching a "Drinking Water" sign, a narrow path leads along the south shore to a wooden bridge, marking the start of a steep, muddy ascent up a broad ridge. The trail, marked occasionally by cairns, continues with a challenging descent using a rope and metal bolts, followed by another steep climb. After a strenuous hike with stunning views, the final ascent to Tindstinden's summit involves a steep, grassy slope aided by a rope, leading to a rewarding panoramic view from the top.
