The Kinsol Trestle is one of the tallest free-standing timber rail trestle structures in the world, rising 44 meters above and 187 meters across the Koksilah River. It's incredible to see!

Constructed by the Canadian Northern Pacific Railway in the early 20th century, the trestle carried both passenger and freight traffic across the river until 1979. It was restored and reopened as part of the multi-use Trans Canada Trail.

The Kinsol Trestle is 1.2km (20-25 minutes) from the south side parking lot. The trail is completely flat and open to cyclists, hikers and horse riders.
