Cape Scott Provincial Park protects the remote northwestern tip of Vancouver Island. Nels Bight is one of the park's highlights - a 2km long white sand beach with Pacific Ocean sunset views.

Located 16.8km from the Cape Scott parking lot, Nels Bight is an overnight or multi-day hiking trip destination. Camping on the beach costs $10/per adult/per night (free from 30th September to 1st May). Buy a permit online or pay at the trailhead in cash (no reservations). More details in the linked guide.
