Helvellyn via Striding Edge is a popular and iconic hike in the Lake District National Park, offering stunning views and some Grade 1 scrambling fun. It's best attempted between spring and autumn, with proper hiking gear and plenty of water and snacks. Make sure to start early to secure a parking spot and enjoy a post-hike meal at one of the cafes in Glenridding.
