Best Things to Do at Grass River Provincial Park (Iskwasum Campground)

The highlight of this campground is the Karst Spring Hiking Trail—a must-do hike in the area! This 3.4 km round-trip trail winds through lush green forest, leading to soft moss-covered landscapes so inviting, you might want to nap on them. Halfway through, you’ll cross a small bridge before reaching a beautiful natural spring flowing from underground limestone formations. This moderate, year-round trail is a must-do!

Tip: If hiking in summer, bring mosquito repellent, and always carry bear spray while exploring.

Other activities include fishing. The campground has a boat launch and dock, making it easy to explore the waters. Canoeing and kayaking are also popular here. As night falls, Iskwasum becomes a fantastic spot for stargazing and northern lights viewing on clear nights.
