Plaza Inmigrantes de Armenia, usually referred to as simply Plaza Armenia, is a lovely green space located in the heart of Palermo Soho.
Originally named Plaza Palermo Viejo, it was renamed in 2014 to honor the Armenian community in the area. For a food tour that also does a deep dive into the history of this plaza and neighborhood, I highly recommend Asado Adventure - photo attached of me and the tour's founder!
The plaza is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike, with open air markets offering fresh food, crafts, and clothing on weekends.
Surrounding the plaza are numerous bars, cafes, and restaurants, making it a perfect destination for a leisurely stroll or a relaxing afternoon. I recommend lunch at one of the open air restaurants or roof patios on a sunny day.
For families, there is a fun ship themed playground here and a carousel!
