This hotel is located in the tranquil car-free Val Roseg valley near St Moritz. In winter, you can only reach the hotel by horse-drawn carriage, cross-country ski, or by foot.

The restaurant

The hotel's restaurant is a popular destination in winter. You'll enjoy traditional Swiss dishes and regional favorites (see menu). They are famous for their large dessert buffet and spectacular views.

The hotel

The hotel has simple chalet style private rooms (single, double, and quad). In a house next to the hotel, they have more affordable dormitory rooms with 4 to 8 beds and shared showers and toilets on each floor.

You can book just with breakfast or half board including dinner. Dogs are welcome.

Sleigh & Dinner package

During winter 2024, the hotel offers a sleigh ride & 3-course dinner package for CHF 119/person. This is available every Saturday from 2 Dec 2024 to 29 March 2025. Departure at 19:00. Return transport is included.

How to get there

The entrance of the Roseg valley is next to the Pontresina train station, about 10 mins from St Moritz.

Privates cars are not allowed in the valley, so park at the train station and another parking lot nearby - see on map.

To get to the hotel, most people ride the Horse-drawn Omnibus, which fits about 20 people. In winter season (mid December to early April), the Omnibus runs 3 times in the afternoon. You must reserve a spot at least one day in advance, but better much earlier that that. You must pay for your tickets in cash, no cards accepted. ➡️ Book here.
