The Louisiana Museum of Modern Art is about an hour away from Copenhagen on public transportation, but it's worth a trip! Besides their amazing art collection, the building itself is really cool, they have a great gift shop, an art studio for kids, a cafe, and a beautiful sculpture garden outside with a view of the sea. You can easily spend most of a day here.

Note that the museum is closed on Mondays.
