Funchal is a beautiful city to explore, with charming cobbled streets, beautiful coastal views and histroical buildings, it's a perfect introduction to the island of Madeira.

The Monte Palace Tropical Garden is a great place to spend the afternoon, with its diverse range of exotic plants, lush greenery and impressive collection of azulejos (traditional Portuguese tiles). If you're into photography, its a great spot to snap some photos!
