Brimstone Head is one of Fogo Island's must-visit attractions, renowned not only for its unique place in Flat Earth lore as one of the four corners of the earth but also for its breathtaking views. Whether you subscribe to flat earth theories or not, the panoramic vistas from the top are universally appealing.

The climb to the summit of Brimstone Head is surprisingly accessible, taking about 15 minutes on a well-marked trail. Once at the top, the landscape unfolds. To one side, you'll see the quaint town of Fogo, a picturesque snapshot of island life. On the other, the vast Atlantic Ocean stretches to the horizon.

Visiting Brimstone Head at sunset is particularly magical, as the sky and sea are set ablaze with colors. It's a perfect spot for photographers, nature lovers, or anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful moment reflecting on the beauty of our planet. This is truly one of the best ways to cap off a day on Fogo Island.
