Staying at the Hodge Premises in Twillingate was a highlight of my trip to Central Newfoundland. As one of the oldest heritage buildings in the area, it boasts a charming atmosphere that’s hard to find anywhere else. With its seven beautifully appointed guest rooms, each offering stunning views of the harbor, the Hodge Premises combines historical elegance with modern comforts.
The rooms are not only a delight to the eyes but also provide exceptional comfort. They're decorated with locally made furnishings that add a touch of Newfoundland’s character to every corner. The bathrobes provided are among the comfiest I’ve experienced, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring Twillingate.
Waking up here is a serene experience, with the gentle sounds of birds and the ocean providing a natural alarm clock. And when you’re ready to start your day, there’s no need to go far for your first cup of coffee—the Hodge Premises houses a fantastic coffee shop right downstairs.
