The Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, also known as Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, is a Catholic church downtown. Built between 1930 and 1940 on the original chapel's foundations, it is dedicated to Our Lady of Guadalupe, the patroness saint of Mexico. The church hosts services in both English and Spanish, with special celebrations held on December 12th to honor the Virgin Mary's first apparition to Juan Diego. With its vibrant festivities and cultural significance, the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe stands as a symbol of faith, female empowerment, and Mexican patriotism.
