Iceland's oldest steel ship now sits on a beach close to Patreksfjörður. The ship, Garðar BA sits on the beach right by the road. It's an interesting photography location. The ship was launched in 1912 and came to Iceland during WWII. It's been sitting on the beach since 1981. Free parking is available on site.
