About the Longji Rice Terraces

The Longji Rice Terraces are a huge area of terraced rice fields and are an impressive sight to behold.

Depending on the season, you'll get completely different views, but each of them are impressive in their own way.

The area is easily accesible and offers the chance to wander around the terraces - finding small nooks-and-crannies away from other visitors and a place to find silence.

The area is also home to a few farmer villages, each with some hotels/ guesthouses and small restaurants for if you get hungry.

Note that the rice terraces are very seasonal:

• Green fields: July to mid-September

• Yellowish: mid-September to late October

• Water-filled: late-April to mid-June
