You are now in front of a little shop on the charming street of Banys Nous. Where does this figurine doing its business come from? I'll tell you! Literally, 'el caganer' means 'the pooper,' and in Catalonia, it's a figurine of a person doing their business. The Catalans have embraced their knack for commerce in this tradition; now you can buy caganers in various figures, from the Spanish prime minister to famous football players or cartoon characters, and there's even a Santa Claus!
