đż Lake Antholz â A Natural Gem in South Tyrol đ
Lake Antholz is a nice alpine lake in South Tyrol ... especially in summer when the water glows in stunning shades of blue and green. đâš Surrounded by majestic mountains, itâs the perfect spot for a scenic hike or simply to soak in the beauty of nature.
And yes, you can swim in the lake during the summer! The crystal-clear water is refreshingly cool, making it a great spot to take a dip on a warm day. đââïžđŠ Just be prepared for chilly temperatures, as alpine lakes are often cold even in the hottest months.
Unfortunately, when we visited in spring, the conditions werenât idealâthe weather wasnât perfect, and the lake didnât show off its full beauty. đ«ïž But even then, this place is absolutely worth a visit! Thereâs plenty to do in the area:
đ¶ââïž Things to do:
Walk the 4 km loop trail around the lake for breathtaking views. đČ (check the walk)
đ Where to park?
There are a couple of parking spots right by the lake this one was for free and this one is paid, but close to the bridge on the picture if you are not interested to walk around the lake (paid parking)
