The Red Reef Trail is located inside Red Cliffs National Conservation Area and the Cottonwood Canyon Wilderness. The trail starts off with an easy hike along a well-defined trail before leading into a canyon. You'll pass pot holes that are filled with water throughout most of the year before reaching a pourover that creates a scenic waterfall in the spring. This can be a very busy hike, so it's best to arrive early to secure a parking spot. Remember to stay hydrated, watch out for flash floods, and respect the natural environment by following Leave No Trace principles.
