Hello! I am Eric Murdoch, I have lived in Scotland for my whole life (30 years!) and I believe it is the best country in the world. I have been a Scottish Tour Guide for my entire working life and I love showing people our fabulous country. In 2020, during Covid lockdown (remember that?!?) myself and my friend Henry started our own tour company called Tartan Viking. We take people on tours around Scotland and focus on hidden gems and off the beaten path places! We work with a fabulous team of people and all of us are here to help you find the best 'off the beaten path' Castles, Standing Stones, Restaurants, City's, Islands Cafe's etc etc. Our guide's will ensure you make the most out of your trip to Scotland.

This guide is a must have for anyone visiting this beautiful country. I spent a crazy 9 days in Scotland. Definitely not my last time here. There is so much more left to do and to explore.

Having been on tour with Eric, I can’t say enough about his skill as a tour guide!! Eric has so much knowledge about Scottish history and his tours are an adventure. This app is like having him in your pocket. I’ve been exploring Scotland from my kitchen!!! Preparing for my next trip in September I am going to use the prepared itineraries for Edinburgh. I dont want to miss a thing, and can’t wait to use the interactive part of the app for walking around the city!! I will let you know how it goes!! I will be doing that around the Tartan Viking Isle of Skye tour!!! Scotland is calling!!!
