Eilean Donan Castle was built in the thirteenth century and has been featured in many movies including Highlander (1986), James Bond - The World is not Enough (1999), and more. If you are looking for dramatic nature scenery and a medieval castle filled with history then you will love visiting Eilean Donan Castle. It is filled with interesting history and on top of that it is also a great photo spot.

Photo Tip for this location: Moody weather makes this castle come alive. If you are coming during autumn or winter then you absolutely must visit this spot! The weather can completely change this locations feel. If you come on a slightly foggy day with a moody sky, then I can assure you that you are in for a magical movie-like experience!
