Florence 360⁰: full immersion

This guide is perfect for first-time visitors but also for those who’ve been to Florence before. I want to share the human side of this city - with real stories, people, charm, and mystery. Between legends and human faces, we will walk these narrow streets together, getting to know Florence intimately, the way most tourists hardly ever see this elegant and whimsical lady. We’ll stop by for coffee and Tuscan food (and when I say it, I mean that homestyle osterias hidden right in front of you!), and we will discover small local shops where you can chat to the owners (who double as mind-blowingly-talented artisans), and we will breathe in that intoxicating Tuscan air, one of a kind, that makes you feel a little bit tipsy as you walk alongside Arno, seeing cotton candy skies and not quite believing this is all real.

And maybe it’s not - but if our minds were creating a perfect place to escape the mundane, that would definitely be Florence. A perfect escape, a place like no other.

I’m Valeria, a passionate writer, travel blogger, and expat in Italy. My Italian story began most unexpectedly: what was supposed to be a gap year, learning a new language and doing an art course, has turned into 9 years and counting of living here. I call Florence home, but to be honest, I feel equally comfortable roaming the narrow streets of Venice, hiking around Lake Garda, visiting an art exhibition in Milan, or lazily sipping wine and watching the sunset in Monopoli. My love for this country brought me to create Dramatically Expatic, a YouTube channel and travel brand, to share Italy’s hidden spots, curiosities, and useful information with fellow Italy lovers.
