HIKE DETAILS:
Start at Alpnachstad at Pilatus bahn. Take the train up to the first stop to save some elevation gain which called Aemsigen.From here you need to follow the signs towards Pilatus. It is steep, after all from 1362 meters you are heading up top 2119 meters.
Distance will be 9 km return trip and It can take 3-4 hours depends on the pace.
The last stretch to reach Pilates is very steep and there are lots of switch backs but remember it is worth it at the end.
