Huge thank you to Jan! When we were planning our trip to Iceland we were a little overwhelmed by all of the options and wonderful places to see. Jan listened to what we were looking for and planned the most wonderful trip for us! He even let us know that one of our hotels closed before the hotel told us (The road to the hotel was gone because of a lava flow that started while we were in the air on the way to Iceland) Many hidden gems that we never would have found on our own. I can't recommend Jan highly enough.

Planning your trip to iceland is hard, planning it from home and making sure we are not going to miss anything worth seeing is even harder. Thanks to this guide I was able to ensure we stopped everywhere that was worth it and little tips and descriptions form Jan helped us figure out what was worth the extra trip and what wasn't.

Some spots that Jan added felt so private, we were either almost alone or completely alone, we would not get to experience that if not this guide.

Do not travel without it honestly, massive help

When planning for travel, there is only so much you can learn from YouTube, TikTok, and Trip Advisor. You’ll miss the small shops, local favorites, and hidden hikes. You need the perspective of someone who has lived in Iceland for an extended period of time — and that’s exactly what this map gives you.

We were so grateful for Jan’s Guide! It was easy to pick a few things to do, then fill in the gaps using the Guide. Or, plan the entire day using the Guide. It was really convenient and allowed us to be flexible.
