Under normal conditions Giwuan is between knee and shoulder high and a popular place for beginners especially during the winter months so it gets pretty crowded,

But the area remains largely untouched, with only locals living here. The beach areas boast a beautiful scenery, so you get genuine paradise vibes and I love longboarding here or relaxing at the beach. Giwan can be shallow and has many hidden rocks under the water so be very careful about you and your surfboard!

Giwan is a 15-20 minute drive from General Luna but unfortunately hard to find (because it's so underdeveloped hence paradise!). So, if you don't have anyone showing you the way, it's best to go to Secret Beach and ask someone there. There are also a few other surf spots in the area called Secret Spot and Paradise, just ask around.
