Buenos Aires' Chinatown

Buenos Aires’s small but mighty Barrio Chino is located within Belgrano, a neighborhood on the north side of the city.

And recently it has become a major dining hub with a previous alleyway lining the train tracks being developed into a row of stylish restaurant, cafes and bars.

The arch marks the neighborhood entrance at the intersection of Juramento and Arribeños streets, just across the street from the Belgrano C train station.

If you're looking for imported foods, spices, and other fun food shopping then Barrio Chino is your paradise in Buenos Aires. Casa Chino and Tina & Co are the top two stores to check out. There is also great street food and a variety of restaurants.

Skip Barrio Chino on the weekend when it gets insanely crowded. Seriously, there are lines to enter the shops as if their dance clubs. Weekdays will provide a peaceful visit.
