There are quite a few rock pools in Funchal, but this one is the best one in our opinion. Mainly because it's not as big and waterparky like the others. It's also less crowded and the view is probably the best with Cabo Girão in the background. If your hotel doesn't have a rock pool this is a great way to experience the fresh Madeiran salt water.

There is a restaurant there too. We've eaten there twice and although it's super beautiful during sunset, it isn't the best food, but if you must, it's not a straight up terrible place to go. Sometimes atmosphere is worth more than food quality.
