If you want to eat with a view of the Lugano region, Ristorante Vetta on the top of the San Salvatore peak is your best bet. They have a beautiful terrace overlooking Lake Lugano and the surrounding mountains. The restaurant serves Mediterranean-inspired dishes made with fresh seasonal ingredients.

You reach the restaurant with a funicular train, located about a 15 mins walk or short bus ride from the center of Lugano.
