These set of islands are some of our favourite. For wildlife lovers there's few places than Mull, but the restaurants, beach options, walks and tours all are some of the best in the world. We've created an itinerary over six days here, but you could still enjoy a lot in a shorter time.

Day One: While there are a few ways onto the Isle of Mull, by far the easiest and most popular is by ferry from Oban.

Oban itself is well worth stopping by as well, especially to take the time to visit Mccaig's Tower and enjoy the view down into the harbour.

Once on the island you'll be heading North to Tobermory.

But be sure to stop by and check out the Salen Shipwreck, which makes for an epic photo in almost all conditions. This stretch of coastline is a great place to spot Otters too.

Once up in Tobemory there is lots to see and do, but first stop should be for lunch or a drink at the Isle of Mull Cheese Shop - just outside of the town.

From there head back into town and enjoy the walk to the lighthouse around the coastline. The walk takes about two hours if you stop to enjoy sights along the way - meaning you are ready for a good dinner when you return.
