The Rock of Cashel, an iconic historical site in County Tipperary, stands majestically atop a limestone hill, offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Known for its medieval architecture, including a round tower, high crosses, and the stunning Cormac’s Chapel, the site is steeped in history and legend.
For drone enthusiasts, there's an excellent spot to launch from the small parking lot just below the castle on the right side. You can either park or walk there for free, and it's particularly beautiful to capture during sunset (52.522171, -7.889403). If you're shooting with a camera, another fantastic angle can be found up the road, past the gas station (52.523348, -7.887029), providing a unique perspective of the Rock of Cashel.
