The Blue Pools Track in New Zealand is a 3.2km out-and-back trail that takes about 25-30 minutes each way to walk. It's an easy stroll on a flat path, shaded the whole way, and well signposted. You'll cross a couple of suspension bridges over the beautiful Makarora River before reaching the stunning Blue Pools. The water is glacier-fed and super cold, so swimming might be more of a quick dip than a leisurely swim! Don't forget your insect repellent for those pesky bugs along the way!
