The Ben Lomond Track in Queenstown is a challenging day hike that rewards you with epic panoramic views. Starting at the Douglas fir stands, the track takes you through alpine tussocks and shrubs before reaching the summit at 1748m. It's a tough climb, so make sure you're fit and ready for a workout! But once you reach the top, the stunning views of Mount Earnslaw and Aspiring are totally worth it. Just remember to check the track conditions with the Department of Conservation before you go!
