This natural phenomenon was created by the erosive forces of the sea, which have slowly eroded away the limestone bedrock to create a patchwork of polygonal shapes that look like a giant mosaic.
Its a short walk to the viewing platform from the carpark and the best time to visit is during low tide, as the rising water can make it difficult to view the formations. If you’re a photographer or an early bird we highly recommend visiting at sunrise to see some unreal reflections on the bedrock. If morning's aren't your thing then sunset can also deliver some stunning scenes!
