The striking Little Blue Lake is found between Derby and Gladstone.
The intense aquamarine colour is from the minerals in it's base, a result of its original use as a mine hole.
It's a popular spot for waterskiing but swimming is not recommended due to the mineral content of the water. Nevertheless, it's a pretty epic place to admire the view and take some photos.
