The Lewis Mine hike in Telluride is a must-do for adventure seekers looking to explore the area's mining history and stunning natural beauty. This challenging trek takes you past waterfalls, wildflowers, and up to the 5-story Lewis Mine structure. If you're feeling extra adventurous, continue on to Lewis Lake for even more breathtaking views at 12,700 feet above sea level. The majority of this trail follows an old mining road and the wildflowers are outstanding; you'll also likely see very few people after you pass the turn off for Blue lake #1.

ALL TRAILS LINKED IN WEBSITE -- note this a loop trail that will connect with Blue Lake #1 if desired. If you want to skip blue lake, stay right at the split and you'll follow an old mining road the majority of the way.
