There are some great dispersed camping spots if you want to camp out here so can hike this for sunrise. The best light is morning light coming into the caves.
Not to scare you, but I did hear a mountain lion when hiking in prior to sunrise and did see tracks in the sand on my way out. I did not visually see the lion though, but just keep this in mind
Alligator Rock can also be found along this trail and is a fun rock to search for! I forgot to make the exact coordinates but I can tell you it’s not where Google says lol
