This is one that's pretty far out of the way, however if you're in the immediate area, it’s worth checking out. I probably wouldn't make a trip for this alone. Great option for those with claustrophobia because despite being narrow, the canyon walls aren't very tall. This took me less than an hour to drive from here to the Southern canyons of Capitol Reef (Headquarters and Surprise) so was able to complete all three in one morning.
I'm marking this as a water hike becuase this canyon is known to hold water, even after no recent rains. I did have to stem in one small section to avoid 6"+ of water.
The trail starts at the opposite end from the visitor's center and you will see a sign that says Red Wash Trail. Start here.
