Baxter Gulch is a valley nestled in Crested Butte, Colorado, with an elevation of 8,888 feet. It's a sweet spot near the village of Mount Crested Butte, surrounded by epic mountain views and outdoor adventures. Baxter Gulch Trail is a long trail in itself, HOWEVER, for Fall we usually go 1.5-2 miles in then turn around. Much of the lower portion of the trail is in aspens and a beautiful hike. Not one of the popular leaf hikes so will likely see few people.
