I was under the impression this was a water hike, but when I went in May, it was dry as a bone. Waterfall wasn't running and the trail was in sand. Theres a cool alcove to check out when you're in the area located HERE: 37.229363, -113.411158
There is a rope attached to assist with the Moki steps. I didn’t find this too difficult, but it is awkward.
Full disclosure — I think social media really over hypes this trail. It’s a great kid friendly trail but know it doesn’t always have a waterfall and the majority of the hike is in sand — not a water hike.
